Relieves wind cold, promotes sweating, circulates qi, relieves gastric congestion. It can be used for the common cold, cough, chest congestion, bloated stomach and abdomen, nausea, and vomiting. It is also used in cooking and as treatment to relieve symptoms related to seafood poisoning.
