Ingredients
1 ½ cup of whole wheat flour
2 tbsp Baking powder
½ teaspoon of Baking soda
1 tablespoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
2 large Eggs
1 ¾ cup Milk
⅓ cup of Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Procedure
Preheat your waffle maker while you make the waffle batter.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In a separate bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together the egg, milk, and butter or oil.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. The batter will be a bit lumpy; that's OK.
Cook the waffles as directed in the instructions that came with your waffle iron. Serve warm.
