Oats khichadi is a hearty and nutritious dish that blends oats, lentils, and veggies to create a tasty one-pot dinner. It is a variant on the traditional Indian khichadi, which is normally made with rice and lentils.

Ingredients
½ cup of quick cooking rolled oats (Jaee)
2 tablespoon of split yellow gram (Yellow moong dal)
1 teaspoon of garlic paste
Pinch of turmeric powder
1 ½ teaspoon of oil
½ teaspoon of green chilli paste
Salt to taste
Procedure
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add green chilli paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, and mix well.
Cook for few seconds and then add oats, moong dal to it.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in 2 cups of hot water, and salt.
Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Serve hot. (Can also be served with low-fat curd)
